// MIAPULPA

// Since: 2023

At Miapulpa, we understand lighting as a form of expression and connection with spaces.

Our work is rooted in a commitment to sustainability and takes shape through handcrafted pieces made entirely from recycled paper pulp. Each lamp is created manually, respecting the rhythm of the process and carefully attending to every detail, ensuring the authenticity and uniqueness of each piece.

Unlike mass production, Miapulpa offers a fully handcrafted approach, allowing customization of dimensions, finishes, and textures according to project needs. Moreover, the material’s properties enable us to explore applications beyond lighting, adapting to unique proposals within the decorative or interior design fields. The manual process using recycled paper pulp results in objects of high aesthetic value and sustainable solutions that bring a unique atmosphere to every space.

Sustainability, honesty, closeness, and respect for the artisanal process. We are driven by the idea of transforming a humble material like paper into something beautiful, functional, and emotionally lasting. We believe in a way of creating that cares for both the environment and people, valuing craftsmanship, time, and attention to detail.

Through a close and personalized approach, we collaborate with interior design and architecture professionals who value craftsmanship, locally made products, and environmental respect. We listen to the needs of each project and provide solutions that integrate seamlessly, adding warmth, texture, and uniqueness to spaces.

We position ourselves as a unique offering within the Contract sector, providing value through artisanal, customizable, and sustainable pieces. While we understand the pace of the sector, we remain true to the principles of our craft. Our working method allows us to create tailored pieces with their own identity—designed for projects that aim to stand out through details and materials.

Products

We create decorative lighting pieces from recycled paper pulp, crafted in our workshop through a fully artisanal process. This technique allows the material to be shaped into organic forms, rich textures, and a natural finish. The properties and versatility of the material enable us to explore applications beyond lighting, adapting to unique design proposals. We work by transforming recovered paper and cardboard into our raw material: paper pulp.

Industrial capacity

Miapulpa operates in a dedicated workshop space designed for artisanal work. Production is small-scale and adapted to the times required by manual processes, allowing for careful crafting and a high level of customization. No industrial machinery is used—only simple tools that support a know-how centered on the material.
