Venetian cuisine has a history of centuries, and the region is the birthplace of some of Italy's most renowned dishes, desserts and wines. The possibilities that come with living in a globalized world, with full access to information and different cultures, allow these traditions to advance thanks to the talent of modern chefs. Maintaining the essence of an Italian restaurant, All Onda Dubai combines ingredients and cooking techniques from various cultures in a perfect gastronomic fusion, to create a menu of fresh and perfect dishes. The design of Clavel Arquitectos brings to this restaurant some elements of the Venetian craftsmanship and traditions, creating a space where the warmth of the materials, the delicacy of the finishes and the human touch are present in each of the environments and details. The gondolas are a well-known symbol of Venice. The oars and the forcola are made by authentic oar specialists. At All Onda we bring these elements to the restaurant for architectural purposes: the walls are covered by hand-made wooden oars, and the forcola is the element that makes up the main bar. The floor is a simple continuous concrete pavement, and the ceilings are covered with hand-made boat-shaped structures that serve as acoustic elements and as light dimmers. There are other areas of the restaurant such as the drinks bar or the bathrooms, where decorative elements have been designed that refer to the Venetian carnival and the Japanese influence.
